Learning in public holds you accountable
You're allowing your ideas to face public scrutiny, evolve, and see if they hold up. It's exposing putting thoughts out into the world but inasmuch as there will always be people who are smarter and more experienced than you are, it's a great way to learn. This is also because Thinking out loud is crowdsourcing.
